The APVMA will assess all applications for active constituent approval, product registration, label approval or variation in accordance with the APVMA legislation, and will complete that assessment within the applicable assessment period.

The APVMA will conduct a preliminary assessment of your application to determine if it seems to meet application requirements.

We may require samples or further information in addition to that which has been provided with your application.

Recategorising an application item or module level

Once we have received your application we may determine that it belongs in a different item or module level to the one stipulated in the application.
