At the end of the quarter there were:

  • 1266 applications in progress
    • 795 product applications
    • 320 active applications
    • 151 permit applications
  • 79 per cent are within timeframe.

Work-in-progress rose in this quarter as a result of:

  • higher than average commencements
  • an increase in the number of applications as part of the vet actives project.

Background

Work-in-progress is an indicator of the future workload of the APVMA. It is calculated as the number of applications still in evaluation at the end of the quarter.
