Public interest disclosure procedures
The Public Interest Disclosure Scheme came into effect on 15 January 2014. The Scheme facilitates disclosure and investigation of wrongdoing and maladministration in the Commonwealth public sector.
The APVMA is committed to the implementation and promotion of the Public Interest Disclosure Scheme and the reporting of wrongdoing by public officials (which includes current and former public servants, contractors and service providers) as a means to ensure public confidence in the operation of the APVMA and the Australian Public Service.
The APVMA has appointed the Executive Directors and Human Resources Manager as authorised officers in relation to public interest disclosures. They may be contacted by calling +61 2 6210 4701.
