Public interest disclosure procedures

The Public Interest Disclosure Scheme came into effect on 15 January 2014. The Scheme facilitates disclosure and investigation of wrongdoing and maladministration in the Commonwealth public sector.

The APVMA is committed to the implementation and promotion of the Public Interest Disclosure Scheme and the reporting of wrongdoing by public officials (which includes current and former public servants, contractors and service providers) as a means to ensure public confidence in the operation of the APVMA and the Australian Public Service.
