Boscalid and Pyraclostrobin in the product Nufarm Pristine Fungicide

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has before it an application from Nufarm Australia Ltd to vary the use of NUFARM PRISTINE FUNGICIDE, containing the active ingredients boscalid and pyraclostrobin at 252 g/kg and 128 g/kg respectively, to reduce the withholding period in apples from 28 days to 14 days, and to add use of the product in pears. The product is a fungicide used for control of blackspot, powdery mildew, alternaria leaf blotch and alternaria fruit spot in apples, and blackspot in pears.
