It is proposed to register Dibbs Progas Fumigant containing 830 g/L propylene oxide as a liquid for the control of microbiological spoilage caused Salmonella enteritiditis, Salmonella typhimurium and Eschericia coli in shelled almonds. Dibbs Progas Fumigant is intended to be used at the rate of 0.5 – 2.4 kg/m3 in a fumigation chamber under vacuum at a temperature of 50±1°C.
