Applications finalised
An application is considered finalised when a decision has been made to either grant registration, refuse registration or it has been withdrawn from the evaluation process by the applicant. This statistic is a count of the number of applications finishing evaluation within the reporting period.
The below figure shows how many applications were finalised by quarter. Quarter 1 represents July–September 2015, quarter 2 represents October–December 2015, quarter 3 represents January–March 2016 and quarter 4 represents April–June 2016. The year to date result combines the result for all quarters.
In all application types, more applications were finalised in quarter 4.
Number of applications finalised by the APVMA July 2015 – June 2016
Note: The sum of the three quarters may not equal the total year to date figure because of small adjustments in data entry for a few applications. The quarter 1 and 2 data above are the same as those published in February 2016 for consistency and because the original figures were correct at the time of publication. The overall differences are immaterial and less than 1 per cent of the totals, except in actives where the difference is 8 per cent—a consequence of our vet actives program.
