Proposed approval of the active constituent fluopicolide and registration of the product Infinito SC Fungicide

The APVMA is considering an application for the approval of a new active constituent fluopicolide and registration of the product Infitino SC Fungicide, containing the new active constituent fluopicolide at 62.5 g/L and the existing active constituent propamocarb hydrochloride at 625 g/L, as a suspension concentrate. The product is to be registered for the control of powdery mildew on cucurbits in bulb vegetables, lettuce, cucurbit and poppies and late blight in potatoes.

We invite comment from 15 November 2016 to 13 December 2016 on whether approval of the active and registration of the product should be granted.

The APVMA is able to consider comments relating to the legislative grounds, including:

  • occupational health and safety
  • public health
  • chemistry and manufacture
  • residues in food
  • environmental safety
  • trade
  • efficacy and target crop safety
