Regulatory Update #257
Tailored guidance for applicants now available
We’re making registration easier with tailored guidance material that gives you the information you need to lodge the right application, with the right data and supporting evidence to meet APVMA criteria before entering our online services portal.
The first modules of tailored guidance material are available now. We’ll be gradually releasing more guidance material for other common types of new product and product variation applications.
By improving applicant guidance material we aim to make the registration process smoother and more efficient.

Updated guidance for submission of international data, standards and assessments
The guidance material for applicants on the use of international data, standards and assessments has been updated.
This latest update provides guidance on the process for considering timeframe reductions when international assessments and underlying data have been submitted in support of applications.
Additional guidance material is currently being developed in consultation with industry to give examples of the further potential for timeframe reductions.
