The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has released its September quarter 2021 performance report, finalising 94.7% of total applications within statutory timeframes.
This included steady performance in the rate of pesticides and veterinary medicines applications completed within timeframe, with the APVMA finalising 98.9% of pesticides and 99.3% of veterinary medicines applications on time in September quarter 2021.
Timeframe performance for applications requiring major assessment was high, with 97.4% of major pesticides applications and 95.5% of veterinary medicines major applications on time in September quarter 2021.
The September quarter 2021 performance report has been published using an updated format, to maintain transparency and ensure accuracy in the APVMA’s performance reporting as new application types are increasingly utilised.
