The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) is considering an application for approval of the new active constituent bromethalin and registration of the products Fastrac G Blox Rodenticide, Fastrac Pro Blox Rodenticide, Fastrac G Place Pacs Rodenticide, Fastrac G Pellets Rodenticide, Fastrac Pro Place Pacs Rodenticide, Fastrac Pro Pellets Rodenticide, Fastrac G Meal Bait Rodenticide, and Fastrac Pro Soft Bait Rodenticide.
We invite comment from 4 June 2021 to 2 July 2021 on whether approval of the active constituent and registration of the products should be granted.
The APVMA is able to consider comments relating to the legislative basis, including:
- chemistry and manufacture
- public health
- occupational health and safety
- residues in food
- trade
- environmental safety
- efficacy and target crop safety.

No submissions were received. We have finalised registration of the product.
