The APVMA is considering an application for approval of the new active constituent calcined kaolin and registration of the product Surround WP Crop Protectant, containing 950 g/kg calcined kaolin, as a wettable powder formulation. The product is intended for repellency of citrus gall wasp in citrus.
We invite comment from 28 June 2022 to 26 July 2022 on whether approval of the active constituent and registration of the product should be granted.
The APVMA is able to consider comments relating to the legislative grounds, including:
- chemistry and manufacture
- public health
- residues in food
- occupational health and safety
- environmental safety
- efficacy and target crop safety
- trade.
