The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) invites written submissions on the proposed regulatory decision for the reconsideration of neomycin, which was published in the APVMA Special Gazette on 27 February 2024. All submissions will be considered by the APVMA prior to finalisation of the reconsideration and publication of the final regulatory decision.
Making your submission
When making your submission, please include reasons for your comments, supporting them, if possible, with relevant scientific information and indicating the source of the information you have used. Please also include the following information:

Publication and response to submissions
The APVMA sought comment from interested stakeholders in relation to the proposed decisions on the reconsideration of neomycin.
Submissions received during the consultation period will be reviewed. The submissions, excluding those requested to remain confidential, will be published on the APVMA website either prior to or in conjunction with the Neomycin Final Regulatory Decision. A summary of the submissions and the APVMA's response will be included in the Neomycin Final Review Technical Report when it is published.
