The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) invites comment on the proposed use of gamma-cyhalothrin in the product Trojan Insecticide on oats, rye and triticale.
We invite written comment from 16 January 2024 to 13 February 2024 on the trade implications of this proposal.
The APVMA is able to consider comments relating to the legislative grounds for the assessment, which are the trade implications of the use of the product. The Trade Advice Notice provides a summary of the APVMA's residue and trade assessment.

Submissions received
The APVMA sought comments from interested stakeholders on the proposed use of Trojan Insecticide containing gamma-cyhalothrin for use on oats, rye and triticale, in a consultation that closed on 13 February 2024. One submission was received during this consultation which was supportive of the proposed uses from a trade perspective.
