The APVMA is considering an application for registration of the product MIGIWA Fungicide containing 218 g/L of the new active constituent ipflufenoquin, as a suspension concentrate (SC) formulation. The product is intended for the control of grey mould (Botrytis cinerea) in strawberries.

We invite comments from 10 January 2023 to 7 February 2023 on whether approval of the active constituent and registration of the product should be granted. The APVMA is able to consider comments relating to the legislative grounds, including:

  • occupational health and safety
  • public health
  • chemistry and manufacture
  • residues in food
  • environmental safety
  • trade
  • efficacy and target crop safety.
