Proposed making of an interchangeable constituent determination under regulation 19AEA of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code Regulations 1995 (Cth) (Regulations)

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) proposes to make the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code (Interchangeable Constituent) Determination 2024 under regulation 19AEA of the Regulations.

Please view the proposed Interchangeable Constituent Determination for more detail.

The APVMA has received an application for an Interchangeable Constituent Determination to allow substitution of a surfactant/wetter Tersperse 4896 with Tersperse 4894 for suspension concentrate and flowable suspension concentrate products.

If made, the Interchangeable Constituent Determination will only allow Tersperse 4896 to be substituted with Tersperse 4894 and not vice versa.

Once made, holders may, in writing lodge notice with the APVMA under section 26AB of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code scheduled to the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code Act 1994 (Cth) (Code) to vary the relevant particulars of an approval or registration in accordance with the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code (Notifiable Variations) Instrument 2019 and the Interchangeable Constituent Determination.

Further information on the proposed determination can be obtained from the contact details given below.
