The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) collaborates with many overseas regulators and international agencies.

These relationships help us maintain a strong reputation for being at the fore of new global developments, innovations and best-practice methodologies.

International activities

As an internationally respected regulator, the APVMA is involved in many activities with international and overseas organisations.

International engagement strategy

The APVMA international engagement strategy sets out – at a high level – the APVMA’s approach to enhancing existing, and building new global partnerships, with agvet chemical regulators and scientific expert groups to achieve and support whole-of-government, legislative and business objectives.

Use of international assessments

The APVMA can use assessments from trusted overseas regulators and international bodies to reduce the duplication of effort where an assessment has already been conducted outside Australia. We also participate in work-sharing between regulators to improve the efficient use of resources.

Your feedback will be submitted to the APVMA anonymously. If you require a response, please contact us.
