The Australian Public Service (APS) Employee Census is a confidential survey of all eligible employees who are employed under the Public Service Act 1999.

The census is a key mechanism through which the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) surveys staff on important issues including their health and wellbeing, leadership and capability, as well as general impressions of the APS and the APVMA as an employer.

The results of the census help us identify areas of strong performance and opportunities for development, and track how the APVMA is progressing on key organisational strategies, initiatives and workplace culture.
