Trade Advice Notices
The APVMA prepares trade advice notices where a proposed change in the use of a registered product has the potential to affect Australia's trade. It provides a summary of the APVMA’s residue and trade assessment.
How we consult on trade advice notices
Trade Advice Notices are published on the public consultation page inviting public comment on the trade implications of a proposed change to the use of a registered product. We communicate the consultation opportunity by writing to relevant stakeholders and including a notice in the Regulatory Update. Submissions must be lodged within 28 days of communication to relevant stakeholders. We are able to consider comments relating to the legislative grounds for the assessment, which are the trade implications of the extended use of the product.
