The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) invites comment on the proposed use of sulfoxaflor in the products Expedite Full Insecticide and Transform Isoclast Active Insecticide for use on canola, cereal grains and lucerne.

We invite written comment from 5 September 2022 to 3 October 2022 on the trade implications of this proposal.

The APVMA is able to consider comments relating to the legislative grounds for the assessment, which are the trade implications of the use of the product. The Trade Advice Notice provides a summary of the APVMA's residue and trade assessment.

Submissions received

The APVMA sought comments from interested stakeholders on the proposed use of sulfoxaflor in the products Expedite Full Insecticide and Transform Isoclast Active Insecticide for use on canola, cereal grains and lucerne, in a consultation that closed on 3 October 2022.

A total of 3 submissions were received from industry groups. A copy of the published submissions is available on our website.

Consultation feedback

We have completed our review of the submissions and the Residues and Trade assessment for this application has been finalised. Following the consideration of the submissions received, the proposed use late season (up to BCH 80) on oats was not supported.
