9 September 2014 to 7 October 2014The APVMA is considering an application to approve the new active constituent, fluensulfone.
The APVMA is considering an application for the registration of Mainman 500 WG Insecticide and to approve the new active constituent, flonicamid. The product is to be registered for control of woolly aphid and tuber mealybug in apples, cotton aphid and green mired in cotton, green peach aphid, melon aphid and silverleaf whitefly in cucurbits and green peach aphid, melon aphid and potato aphid in potatoes.
We invite comment from 9 September 2014 to 7 October 2014 on whether the application for approval of the active constituent and registration of the product should be granted.
The APVMA is able to consider comments relating to the legislative grounds for registration, including:
- occupational health and safety
- safety and first aid
- chemistry and manufacture
- residues
- environmental fate and toxicity
- trade
- efficacy.
