The APVMA is considering an application for the approval of the new active constituent, Inactivated West Nile virus strain VM-2, and registration of the product Equivac WNV.

We invite comment from 17 June 2014 to 15 July 2014 on whether the application for registration should be granted.

The APVMA is able to consider comments relating to the legislative grounds for registration, including:

  • occupational health and safety
  • safety and first aid
  • chemistry and manufacture
  • residues
  • environmental fate and toxicity
  • trade
  • efficacy.
