Proposed approval of the new active constituent, pradofloxacin, and registration of Veraflox tablets for dogs and cats
This consultation closed on 4 November 2014.
The APVMA is considering an application for the registration of the products Veraflox 120 mg Tablets for Dogs Antimicrobial, Veraflox 60 mg Tablets for Dogs Antimicrobial, Veraflox 15 mg Tablets for Dogs and Cats Antimicrobial, and Veraflox 25 mg/mL Oral Suspension for Cats, and to approve the new active constituent, pradofloxacin. The products are to be used for the treatment of bacterial infections of specific tissues in dogs and cats.
We invite comment from 7 October 2014 to 4 November 2014 on whether the application for approval of the active constituent and registration of the products should be granted.
