Proposed approval of a new active constituent, Cydia Pomonella Granulovirus Strain C22 (CpGV-V22)

The APVMA is considering an application for the registration of the new active constituent Cydia Pomonella Granulovirus Strain C22 (CpGV-V22).Cydia Pomonella Granulovirus Strain C22 (Cp>GV-V22) is a natural entomopathogen belonging to the family Baculoviridae. It will be used to control oriental fruit moth and codling moth in pome and stone fruits.

We invite comment from 14 July 2015 to 11 August 2015 as to whether the application for approval of Cydia Pomonella Granulovirus Strain C22 (Cp>GV-V22) should be granted. Submissions should relate only to matters that the APVMA is required by legislation to consider in deciding whether to grant the approval. These grounds include chemistry and manufacture, and toxicity. Submissions should state the grounds on which they are based.
