Proposed approval of the new active constituent clitoria ternatea extract
This consultation closed on 17 November 2015.
The APVMA is considering an application for approval of the new active constituent clitoria ternatea extract. Clitoria ternatea extract is an extract from clitoria ternatea belonging to the family Fabaceace (formally Leguminosae). It is an insecticide for use in cotton.
We invite comment from 3 November 2015 to 17 November 2015 as to whether the application for approval of clitoria ternatea extract should be granted. Submissions should relate only to matters that the APVMA is required by legislation to consider in deciding whether to grant the approval. These grounds include chemistry and manufacture, and toxicity. Submissions should state the grounds on which they are based.
For more information, APVMA Gazette Notice (page 30) from 3 November 2015.
