The APVMA is considering an application to approve the new active constituent, indaziflam and considering an application for the registration of Specticle Herbicide, containing indaziflam. The product is to be registered for control of summer grass, crowsfoot grass and winter grass in turf on golf course fairways.

We invite comment from 17 November 2015 to 15 December 2015 on whether the application for approval of the active constituent and registration of the product should be granted.

The APVMA is able to consider comments relating to matters that are required to be taken into consideration in determining whether the safety, efficacy or trade criteria have been met. This may include aspects of the following:

  • work health and safety
  • public health
  • chemistry and manufacture
  • residues in food
  • environmental safety
  • trade
  • efficacy and safety
