Proposed approval of the new active eimeria brunetti strain roybru3+28 in the product Eimeriavax plus vaccine

The APVMA is considering an application for approval of the active eimeria brunetti strain roybru3+28  and registration of the product Eimeriavax Plus Vaccine. The product is to be registered as an aid in the control of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria necatrix and Eimeria brunettiin breeder, broiler and layer chickens.

We invite comment from 24 April 2018 to 22 May 2018 on whether the application for active approval and registration of the product should be granted.

The APVMA is able to consider comments relating to the legislative grounds for registration, including:

  • occupational health and safety
  • public health
  • chemistry and manufacture
  • residues in food
  • environmental safety
  • trade
  • efficacy and target crop safety.
