Legal expenditure

Paragraph 11.2 of the Legal Services Directions 2017 requires that within 60 days after the end of the financial year, corporate Commonwealth agencies that were an ‘agency’ within the meaning of the Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997 on 30 June 2014, must report to the Office of Legal Services Coordination on their legal services expenditure.

Paragraph 11.1(ba) of the Legal Services Directions 2017 requires that by 30 October of each year, agencies make records of their legal services expenditure for the previous year publicly available.

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority's total legal expenditure (GST exclusive) for the relevant years was as follows:
