Evaluation of the new active benzovindiflupyr in the product Elatus Ace Fungicide

The APVMA is considering an application for approval of the new active constituent benzovindiflupyr and registration of the product Elatus Ace Fungicide, containing 40 g/L benzovindiflupyr and 250 g/L propiconazole, as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation. The product is intended for the control of fungal diseases in wheat and barley.

We invite comment from 18 June 2019 to 16 July 2019 on whether approval of the active constituent and registration of the product should be granted.

The APVMA is able to consider comments relating to the legislative grounds, including:

  • occupational health and safety
  • public health
  • chemistry and manufacture
  • residues in food
  • environmental safety
  • trade
  • efficacy and target crop safety
