PubCRIS, or the Public Chemicals Registration Information System, is the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority's (APVMA) public database of registered chemical products. This database contains searchable details of all agricultural and veterinary chemical products that are registered for use in Australia, including the details of the approved active constituents contained in these registered products. PubCRIS includes other useful information, such as the holder of the approval or registration, any limitation on the use of data associated with the approval or registration, the pest that needs to controlled, the host on which it occurs and details of the relevant particulars of the approved label for the product.

This database allows you to search by the:

  • name of the product
  • registration number of the product
  • name of the active constituent
  • approval number of the active constituent
  • holder
  • other constituent
  • host
  • pest.

There are a number of advanced search and filter options by which you can further refine your search, such as product type, the state in which the product is registered and the product’s formulation type.

PubCRIS also enables you to export your search results into Microsoft Excel and allows you to search information on stopped, cancelled and expired products.
