APVMA draft Strategy

This consultation closed on 18 November 2022

Consultation period

7 November 2022 to 18 November 2022

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) is seeking feedback on its draft APVMA Strategy.

The comments received will be considered and, where appropriate, included in a revised draft. Your comments will also inform a more detailed strategic plan that is being developed to guide delivery of the Strategy.

Submissions should be emailed to communications@apvma.gov.au by 5 pm, Friday 18 November 2022.

The Strategy sets out overarching strategic objectives for the APVMA under 6 broad themes. It is aimed at guiding the APVMA towards our vision: to be a global leader in agriculture and veterinary chemicals regulation for the benefit of Australia.

The APVMA Board is also working on a more detailed strategic plan to guide delivery of the strategy. The strategic plan will provide tangible actions for the APVMA over the short to medium term.
