Fenitrothion proposed regulatory decision

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) invites written submissions on the proposed regulatory decision for the reconsideration of fenitrothion, which was published in the APVMA Special Gazette on 9 April 2024. All submissions will be considered by the APVMA prior to finalisation of the reconsideration and publication of the final regulatory decision.

Publication and response to submissions

The APVMA sought comment from interested stakeholders in relation to the proposed decisions on the reconsideration of fenitrothion.

Submissions received during the consultation period will be reviewed. The submissions, excluding those requested to remain confidential, will be published on the APVMA website either prior to or in conjunction with the Fenitrothion Final Regulatory Decision. A summary of the submissions and the APVMA's response will be included in the Fenitrothion Final Review Technical Report when it is published.
