Proposed approval of fluensulfone active constituent
This consultation closed on 9 September 2014.
The APVMA is considering an application to approve the new active constituent, fluensulfone.
Fluensulfone is a nematicide. It will be used to control root-knot nematodes in selected vegetable crops including cucumbers, melons, cantaloupes, tomatoes, capsicum, okra, and eggplant.
We invite comment from 12 August 2014 to 9 September 2014 on whether the application for approval of the active constituent should be granted.
The APVMA is able to consider comments relating to the legislative grounds for registration, including:
- occupational health and safety
- safety and first aid
- chemistry and manufacture
- environmental fate and toxicity
